Turkey Recipes
HEALTHY TURKEY SPAGHETTI
1 lb lean ground turkey
1 package of wheat spaghetti noodles
1 medium onion chopped
1 large green pepper chopped
5 white button mushrooms sliced (use as many that suits your taste)
1 jar your choice spaghetti sauce. (suggest Bertoli or Hunts, low sodium)
1 tbsp oregano
1 tbsp garlic salt
1 tsp fresh ground pepper
Mix turkey, mushrooms, onion, and green pepper into pan. Brown turkey and drain. Use lean turkey and there won’t be much to drain. Stir in seasoning and sauce. Let simmer for 15-20 minutes. Serve over boiled wheat noodles.

1 pkg lean sliced turkey sausage
2 tsp extra- virgin olive oil
2 cloves chopped garlic
2 cups chopped kale
2 tbsp water
3/4 cup cannellini beans
3/4 cup halved cherry tomatoes
1 tbsp fresh chopped basil
Brown lean turkey sausage. Remove from pan and slice. Return to pan with 2 tsp olive oil. Cook 5 min or until no longer pink, then add 2 cloves chopped garlic, 2 cups chopped kale, and 2 T water. Cook 3-5 min or until kale is wilted. Add 3/4 cup cannellini beans, rinsed and drained, 3/4 cup halved cherry tomatoes and 1 T fresh basil. Salt and pepper to taste. Heat through.
